2009-2010: We are a "B" School!!!!
I strongly believe that a good education is the greatest legacy that one generation can pass on to the next. I also believe that the key to improving the whole person is educating the mind. This education begins at home, but continues in a formal way in the K-12 system, and then in college, for many students. Our roles as educators are vital to building a civil and successful society by preparing each student to be productive and responsible. We accept this challenge willingly and are happy to be a part of such meaningful work.
Park Lakes Elementary is a wonderful oasis of education in the City of Lauderdale Lakes. Our mascot is the eagle, strong, elegant, and proud, soaring to ever-greater heights. Our goal is to match the eagle in our academic achievements and in the social development of our students. We aim to do this in full collaboration with our parents, community, government institutions, and our business partners. Our staff is highly qualified, caring, and dedicated. We are committed to working harder and harder each day to ensure that our boys and girls get the best education possible. I certainly consider it an honor to have been given the opportunity to serve as an educational leader in this school and community. I look forward to an awesome year of challenges, achievements, rewards, and celebrations here at Park Lakes.
